Ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings are important to business. It's also important to the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce that we help our partners with major events such as grand openings, relocations and significant anniversaries. We make it simple for you at no cost!

The Chamber conducts ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremonies at no cost to partners, provided the ceremonies meet the Chamber's guidelines.

Chamber staff provides support in the planning stages with time and date coordination and agenda preparation. The more notice the better for proper advertisement and notification to the partnership.

Choose a date and contact the Chamber. We send out invitations to more than 900 Chamber representatives. Attendance may range from 25-150. If you would like to incorporate an open house or something else with your celebration, we will be happy to publicize that information in our e-mail advertisement as well!

On the day of the celebration, we bring the big scissors and ribbon, or in the event of a groundbreaking, we bring the shovels (including the three-handle shovel) for the "official" dig.

Ceremony pictures will be published in the following month's Chamber Connection newsletter (hard copy and electronic), reaching more than 3,000 Chamber representatives.
