Chamber Green Scene Issue #16: The Home Depot
Posted by Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce - 3/27/2009 10:32:00 AM

As part of their long term commitment to the environment and sustainability, The Home Depot is pleased to offer free in-store compact fluorescent (CFL) light bulb recycling at all of their stores nationwide.
Bring in any expired, unbroken CFLs, place them in a plastic bag, and deposit them both into one of the bright orange collection units in any Home Depot store in the United States.
The bulbs will be managed responsibly by an environmental management company who will coordinate CFL packaging, transportation, and recycling to maximize safety and ensure environmental compliance.
