The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is the driving force for one of America's premier business communities.

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is the fourth largest chamber in the state, with more than 1,300 business and individual partners. Nearly 90% of our partners are small businesses, the majority of which have four or fewer employees.
Accreditation
Of the 6,000 chambers in the nation, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is 1 of 336 accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and has been for more than 30 years. While there are 110 chambers in Kentucky, only three are nationally accredited, and the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is one of them.This accreditation procedure identifies a chamber as effectively serving the growth and development needs of its market and helping to make the area, state and nation a better place to live.
Economic Development
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce serves as the lead economic development organization for the Kentucky Transpark, Bowling Green/Warren County, and the South Central Kentucky regional marketing coalition.
Through the Chamber's economic development efforts, more than 15,000 manufacturing, distribution and regional office jobs have been created in Warren County since 1990. In 2007, economic development staff have played roles in recruiting major industries to the 8-county South Central Kentucky region, including American HOWA Kentucky, Inc.; Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake, LLC; Sitel Corporation; Kenmold Co., LTD; Cannon Automotive Solutions, Inc.; and TeleServices Direct. The staff have also assisted existing industries in expanding their operations and/or relocating to a new location in the region. Wind Energy Corporation; Dynastrosi Laboratories, Inc.; and LORD Corporation are examples of these efforts.
Partnership Benefits
The Chamber has numerous programs benefiting our partners. While some programs assist and promote business, other programs help develop local business leaders into community leaders. More than 500 Chamber partners have graduated from the Leadership Bowling Green program, since its inception in 1985.
Legislative Activity
In an effort to keep area residents informed about legislative activity during General Assembly sessions, the Chamber sponsors legislative forums that give interested citizens the opportunity to meet legislators. These forums are aired on Insight Communications, giving many Warren Countians the opportunity to keep up with legislative activity.
Awards and Recognition
The Chamber annually recognizes the Industry of the Year, the South Central Kentucky Agriculture Hall of Fame recipient, the Small Business Person of the Year, and the ATHENA Award recipient.

The Chamber answers more than 7,000 inquiries about Bowling Green and Warren County annually.
